Getting a personal loan with no credit
May 30, 2010 · Posted in Qualify For Loans
I am 18, just getting prepared to go to college, and I have no credit at all. I don’t need a student loan because my dad is paying for my school. However, my boyfriend and I live together and we just bought $1500 worth of furniture from his brother. We were supposed to stick to a payment plan since we don’t have a huge income, but his brother wants the money now. My boyfriend is just going through bankruptcy so he can’t get a loan. How can I go about getting a personal loan to pay them off? We are both employed so I am not worried about making payments, but I am clueless about how to even get a loan.

You would have to find a good co-signer who will sign for you. If you got the furniture from his brother, and agreed to payment arrangements, they can’t really ask for all the money up front. You should have been smart and gotten it in writing….
try check and go or the pawn shop. I’m glad i don’t have your problem
You will probably need a co-signer, or be able to build some credit. You can do that pretty easy. Get a cell phone and make sure you pay your bill on time. Getting a phone, electricity, gas, etc. in your name will also build credit. Get a credit card, buy one thing and pay it off, that will build your credit fast too.
You may be eligible for a personal loan. I would suggest you check this link below for more info. http://money-review-site.com/loans.html
All the best
Since you don’t have credit but you are about to go to school you have two options: You can apply for a small school loan and take the money directly to pay off your debt. This is in a way fraud but you are in school and school loans cant be denied to anyone unless they have really bad credit.
Your other option is to get a co-signer that has good credit and that a bank would approve. The co-signer would need to be able to cover the payment amount in case you should become unable to pay. Go to a credit union, they typically approve easier than a major bank. Good luck.
You will need a person who can be your guarantor for all the loan that you take. Its better to build your own credit and then go for loan. This option is however not possible in your case. Go for a guarantor.

You should also not make payments immediately after making the charge. Wait for the statement and then pay the balance in full. Credit card companies only report once a month. Whatever shows on your account at that time is what gets reported. If you immedately pay after making charges, you are likelyl to show no utilization at all.
I just want to ask if i can get a loan even if I don’t have a current job. My sister is in the hospital right now and we need a large amount of money to pay all the hospital bills.. What should we do? Please help us.
I’m gonna have to agree with most of the other comments and say get a co-signer. I would research many loan options out there to find one that best fits your financial situation. I bet you could find one that works with ya’lls current income.
